  • Details of stock coming up for sale: Auction Warehouse offers for immediate sale a substantial parcel of cold rolled stainless steel sheet and coil, produced by a Taiwanese mill and imported for distribution into the Australian market. The consignment encountered heavy weather on the voyage and sustained salt water exposure; it was rejected by the receiving distributor, whose trade requires blemish-free first-quality stock. The majority of lines carry protective laser PE film on the main face, which has substantially shielded the working surfaces — damage presents principally as water staining to unprotected faces, edges and packaging. This is a working parcel of laser-grade stainless at a fraction of replacement, suited to fabricators and processors for whom the affected surfaces are workable, concealed or refinished. Salt water exposure in transit. Observed condition: water staining and mineral marking to exposed sheet faces, with pooled-water marks on top sheets of opened packs; timber cases and interleaving paper wet with isolated rust transfer marks from packaging; protective laser film intact across the majority of main faces, with clean bright material evident beneath. Sheets are flat and undamaged mechanically; coils remain strapped in timber transport frames. Offered strictly as-is, where-is — inspection invited and recommended. Grade and finish per the mill's commercial documentation; mill certificates available on request.
